Clearing your browser cache and cookies fixes most login and display issues on Uniplaces. The process takes under a minute on Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
Why clearing cache helps
Your browser stores temporary data — called cache and cookies — to load websites faster. Over time, this stored data can become outdated or corrupted, causing issues like pages not loading correctly, being unable to log in, or seeing old information that’s no longer accurate.
Clearing your cache forces the browser to fetch fresh data from the website, which resolves most display and login issues. It’s the first thing to try whenever Uniplaces isn’t behaving as expected.

- Reload Uniplaces and try again

- Confirm and reload Uniplaces

Still not working?
If clearing your cache doesn’t resolve the issue, try these additional steps:
- Try a different browser — if the issue is browser-specific, switching to another browser will confirm this
- Try an incognito or private window — this bypasses cached data and extensions that might be causing the issue
- Disable browser extensions — ad blockers or privacy extensions sometimes interfere with platform functionality
If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact the Uniplaces support team with a description of the problem and which browser and device you’re using.
Frequently asked questions
Will clearing my cache log me out of other websites?
Clearing cookies will log you out of websites where you’re currently signed in — including Uniplaces. You’ll need to log back in after clearing. Your account data and bookings are not affected.
How often should I clear my cache?
There’s no fixed schedule — clear your cache when you notice issues loading pages or logging in. Most users only need to do it occasionally when something isn’t working correctly.
Will clearing my cache delete my Uniplaces account or bookings?
No — clearing cache and cookies only removes temporary browser data. Your Uniplaces account, bookings, messages and personal information are stored on Uniplaces’ servers and are not affected.
I cleared my cache but the problem persists — what next?
Contact the Uniplaces support team and describe the issue in detail — what you were trying to do, what happened, and which browser and device you’re using. The team will investigate and help resolve it.
