Check your spam and junk folder first. Add no-reply@uniplaces.com to your contacts to make sure Uniplaces emails always reach your inbox.
Step 1 — Check your spam and junk folder
Most missing Uniplaces emails end up in spam or junk. Check these folders before anything else — it’s the most common cause of missing confirmation emails, booking notifications and password reset links.
If you find a Uniplaces email in spam, mark it as “Not spam” or “Not junk” to help your email provider learn that Uniplaces emails are legitimate. This reduces the chance of future emails being filtered.
Step 2 — Add no-reply@uniplaces.com to your contacts
Adding the Uniplaces sender address to your contacts tells your email provider to trust it. Add no-reply@uniplaces.com to your contacts so future emails are delivered directly to your inbox.
On most email clients, you can do this by opening any Uniplaces email, clicking on the sender name and selecting “Add to contacts”. If you can’t find a Uniplaces email, add the address manually in your contacts app.
Step 3 — Check your email filters and rules
Email filters or rules you’ve set up previously may be automatically moving or deleting Uniplaces emails. Check your email settings for any filters that might be affecting emails from uniplaces.com and adjust or delete them.
On Gmail, go to Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses. On Outlook, go to Settings → Rules. On Apple Mail, go to Mail → Settings → Rules.
Step 4 — Verify your email address is correct in your profile
If you’re not receiving emails at all — including to your spam folder — it’s possible the email address on your Uniplaces account is incorrect or outdated.
- Log in to Uniplaces and go to your Personal Dashboard
- Click Account settings
- Check that the email address shown matches the one you’re checking
- If it’s incorrect, update it and save your changes
If you can’t log in because you’re not receiving the password reset email either, contact the Uniplaces support team directly — they can help you regain access to your account.
Still not receiving emails?
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact the Uniplaces support team. Provide the following details to help them investigate:
- Your registered email address
- Which emails you’re not receiving — booking confirmations, notifications, password resets
- Your email provider — Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, university email, etc.
Frequently asked questions
Which email address does Uniplaces send from?
Most Uniplaces emails are sent from no-reply@uniplaces.com. Some notifications may also come from other @uniplaces.com addresses. Adding the domain @uniplaces.com to your trusted senders list will cover all variations.
I’m using a university email — could that be the problem?
University email servers often have strict spam filters that block marketing and transactional emails. Try adding no-reply@uniplaces.com to your contacts and check with your university’s IT department if emails are still not arriving. Using a personal email address (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) as your Uniplaces account email is more reliable.
I received the email once but now I’m not receiving them anymore.
You may have accidentally marked a Uniplaces email as spam at some point. Go to your spam folder and search for any Uniplaces emails — mark them as “Not spam” if you find any. This should restore normal delivery.
Can I change the email address on my Uniplaces account?
Yes — go to your Personal Dashboard → Account settings and update your email address. You’ll need to verify the new address before it becomes active.
