To reset your password, click ‘Forgot password’ on the login page and follow the email link. The reset link expires after 24 hours.
If you forgot your password
- Go to uniplaces.com and click Login in the top right corner.
- Click ‘Forgot password’ below the login form.
- Enter your email address and click Send reset link.
- Check your inbox for an email from Uniplaces with the subject line ‘Reset your password’. Check your spam folder if it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes.
- Click the reset link in the email and follow the steps to set a new password.
Once your new password is set, you can log in immediately. The reset link is valid for 24 hours — if it expires, repeat the process to request a new one.
What if a step doesn’t work?
- Reset email not arriving — check your spam or junk folder. Make sure you’re entering the email address associated with your Uniplaces account. If you have multiple email addresses, try each one.
- Reset link expired — go back to the login page and request a new reset link. The link is valid for 24 hours from the moment it’s sent.
- Still can’t log in after resetting — clear your browser cache and try again. If the issue continues, contact the Uniplaces support team.
If you want to change your password
- Log in to your account and go to your Personal Dashboard.
- Click Account settings.
- Select Change password.
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice to confirm.
- Click Save changes.
Your password is updated immediately. You’ll remain logged in on your current device, but may be asked to log in again on other devices.
The reset link expired — what to do
If you click the reset link and see an error saying it has expired, go back to the login page and request a new one. Each reset link is single-use and valid for 24 hours. Don’t wait — request a new link and complete the process straight away.
Frequently asked questions
What if I don’t remember which email I used to sign up?
Try the email addresses you use most frequently. If none of them work, contact the Uniplaces support team — they can look up your account using your name or booking reference and help you regain access.
Can I use the same password I had before?
Uniplaces doesn’t restrict you from reusing a previous password, but it’s good practice to choose a new one. Use a strong password — at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers and symbols.
Will changing my password log me out of other devices?
You may be asked to log in again on other devices after changing your password. This is a security measure to ensure only you have access to your account.
What if my account was accessed by someone else?
Change your password immediately using the steps above. Then contact the Uniplaces support team to report the incident — they can review recent account activity and take additional security measures if needed.
