How to See Your Tenant’s Details After Booking

Once a booking is confirmed, go to your dashboard and select the booking to view your tenant’s full name, contact information and profile details.

How to see your tenant’s details

  1. Log in and go to your Personal Dashboard.
  2. Click ‘Bookings’ in the navigation menu.
  3. Select the confirmed booking you want to view.
  4. Click on the ‘Tenant details’ tab to see the full profile and contact information.

You can also find your tenant’s contact details in the booking confirmation email sent to you immediately after you accepted the request.

What if a step doesn’t work?

  • Booking not appearing in dashboard — make sure you’re logged in with the correct landlord account. If the confirmed booking still isn’t showing, contact the Uniplaces support team with your booking reference.
  • Tenant details tab not visible — tenant details are only available after a booking is confirmed and payment has been processed. Pending or expired requests do not show tenant contact information.

What information is visible?

Once a booking is confirmed, you can see:

  • Full name — the tenant’s legal name as registered on their Uniplaces account
  • Email address — their registered contact email
  • Phone number — their verified phone number
  • Profile — their bio, profile photo and tenant type (student, intern, young professional)

When is tenant information available?

Tenant contact details are only available after a booking is confirmed — meaning you have accepted the request and the tenant’s payment has been processed. This is a deliberate platform rule that protects both parties.

Before confirmation, you can see the tenant’s name, profile photo, bio and tenant type when reviewing their booking request — but not their contact details. This ensures all initial interactions go through Uniplaces, keeping both parties protected.

What if contact details are missing?

If you’ve confirmed a booking but the tenant’s contact details aren’t appearing in your dashboard, contact the Uniplaces support team with your booking reference number. The team will investigate and provide the information you need. This is rare and typically resolves quickly.

No — you cannot contact tenants directly before a booking is confirmed. If you have specific questions about a booking request, contact the Uniplaces Customer Care team and they’ll reach out to the tenant on your behalf before you commit to accepting.

Try contacting them by email first. If you’re unable to reach the tenant ahead of move-in day, contact Uniplaces support — the team can help facilitate communication and ensure move-in goes smoothly.

Is the tenant’s contact information stored in my dashboard permanently?

Yes — tenant details remain accessible in your Personal Dashboard for all confirmed and past bookings. You can refer back to them at any time.

Can I see reviews left by previous landlords about this tenant?

Tenant reviews are not publicly displayed on Uniplaces in the same way as landlord reviews. When reviewing a booking request, focus on the tenant’s profile, bio and the information provided — these give you the best indication of who you’ll be welcoming into your property.
