Queen Mary is a unique university in East London, between Whitechapel and Mile End. It is one of the best ranked. Queen Mary University is one of the only self-contained campuses in London. This means that all the departments, the library, the student union and even some halls of residence are within the same campus. The self-contained campus makes it particularly convenient – you don’t have to travel across London to get to university.

Queen Mary - University of London is particularly strong in Law and Economics. It's Medical School is one of the best in the UK. This university attracts a lot of international students, especially for its postgraduate degrees. QMUL is one of the most diverse universities in the world.

If you are trying to get there, the tube stations Stepney Green (District, Hammersmith & Circle lines) and Mile End (Central line) are both 5 minutes away from Queen Mary. If you prefer to take a bus, lines 25, 205 and 339 all take you right outside the campus.
