The relatively new tram system run by Nottingham Express Transit (NET) starts at Nottingham Station (Station Street) and runs through the Lace Market, Old Market Square, Royal Centre, right up to Hucknall.Make sure you have a valid ticket before you board the tram. Wollaton Hall and Deer Park is one of the country’s finest Grade One listed Elizabethan mansions located within 500 acres of lovely parkland and lake. The house is now Nottingham Natural History Museum and at the Wollaton's Courtyard Stables you will find the city's Industrial Museum. Notice, that the parkland has a herd of deer which to admire and large-scale outdoor events and festivals are held here.

Old Market Square

Highfields is a lovely park located close to Nottingham University Campus and is a well maintained park with magnificent trees, exotic plantings and water features.
