Living close to Campus Leonardo

The Polytechnic University of Milan is located in the northeastern part of the city that surrounds university buildings. This complex of scientific investigation, founded only a couple of years after the unit of Italy with the name of Città Studi (University City), that has been conserved until our days to indicate that it is the neighborhood that arose with the expansion of the city. The broad streets with trees and residential buildings behind the university faculties, located in buildings of different architectural styles.

The neighborhood is frequented by students, thanks to the availability of rooms near the Polytechnic University at a good price. Since it is a university area, the neighborhood also has various services and venues, such as bars and pizzerias, which are indispensable for young people with little budget. In addition, every Saturday there is a market in Via Carlo Valvassori Peroni, where you can find high quality products, fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as charcuterie and fried stalls.

HOW TO GET TO LEONARDO CAMPUS 

The University City is a very well connected neighborhood. You get there mainly using the green metro line (M2), with stop at Piola and Lambrate. From here you can reach the main train stations in a couple of stops. The Leonardo da Vinci square is bordered on the east by Romagna Boulevard, where trolleybus 90 and 91 (continuous time) pass; And west on Ponzio Street, where the bus 93 passes. Trams 23 and 33 go to the center and the Porta Garibaldi station, and stop in the same square. Thanks to the large variety of apartments near the Polytechnic you can enjoy all the advantages of living in this area without giving up on everything Milan has to offer.
