Campanar

Valencia, Spain

Preserving traces from its past, Campanar is a typical Valencia neighbourhood. This is one of the oldest areas in the outskirts of Valencia, preserving many of its original structures. The neighbourhood’s centre is made out of low-rise buildings with tiled roofs that give a colourful image to this area. The Nuevo Centro shopping centre brought a new comfort to the area, offering many stores and a more diversified offer. In a process of modernisation, the traditional summer terraces are being transformed into lounges and cocktail bars with live music and cold drinks. The neighbourhood has excellent public transport connections on the bus and Metro.
