The neighbourhood of Marine de Port comprises a series of historic sub-neighbourhoods with many interesting places to visit. With a rural past, this neighbourhood still preserves the slow-pace of life and peaceful atmosphere. Nowadays one of the last vestiges of that past is Masia de Can Mestres, the only remaining traditional Catalan farmhouse inside Barcelona city limits. The neighbourhood is close to INEFC Barcelona–Universitat de Barcelona The area has several green parks where you can enjoy the sunny days after a day of classes. There are no Metro Stations in Marina de Port but the Europa Fira stop is within a short distance.
