Città Studi is a complex of university buildings built in the 30's in what was then the countryside outside Milan. Nowadays the city has absorbed the university and the neighborhood where it is has also adopted the name.
The long academic history of the neighborhood can be seen in every street. HOW TO GET TO CITTÀ STUDI
The green metro line (M2) has two stops at Cità Studi: Piola and Lambrate. Several suburban and regional trains arrive at the Lambrate train station. Via viale Romagna pass trolleys 90 and 91 at any time and via the Via Ponzio pass 93. Trams 23 and 33 arrive respectively at the center and the station of Porta Garibaldi, and stop right in Piazza Leonardo.
