Carlos III University has four campuses, three of them located in districts just outside Madrid (Getafe, Leganés and Colmenarejo) and one in the center of Madrid (Puerta de Toledo).

Getafe campus is located very close to the center of Getafe district.  The nearest metro station is Juan de la Cierva (line 12) and is only a few minutes walk from the university. Living in Getafe is the best choice if you study on this campus because, despite being outside Madrid, is well connected with the center of the capital by train (line C-4, which stops at Getafe Center).

Getafe is also a good option to find accommodation if you study in the campus of Leganés, as the journey by metro (line 12) takes about 30 minutes. The University is located in the center of Leganés and has very modern facilities, including an indoor pool and an auditorium. The nearest metro station is Leganés Central (only 7 minutes by walk to the university)  and next to it there’s also a train station (also called Leganés Central).

Colmenarejo campus is in Colmenarejo district, located northwest of the city. This campus also  has modern facilities and its highlight is the library.  

Madrid campus is in the Embajadores neighbourhood, near the famous Rastro market and the Ribera market. The metro stop Puerta de Toledo (line 5) is right next to the University and Embajadores metro stop (line 3), only ten minutes away.

If you study in the Puerta de Toledo campus, the best areas to look for accommodation are Puerta de Toledo (you can even walk to the University), La Latina (one stop on the metro line 5), Sol ( 22 minutes by bus number 3 or 19 minutes on the metro line 5 to Gran Vía) and Embajadores (10-15 minute walk).
