The room was upgraded a couple of times during my stay, including a new (much larger :) ) bed and a new coat rack. The house is in a very nice, green, quite area of San Sebastian de los Reyes, the only noise sometimes comes from planes landing at or taking off from Bajaras Airport, but you can only hear it in the distance when you're outside. The house is very close to the metro station, which takes you to the old center of Madrid within an hour. Busses are even closer, and can bring you to the airport, the Cantoblanco campus and Madrid. But even more important as I'm from Holland: there are bicycle paths in SS de los Reyes! From this house to the Cantoblanco campus you only have to go on the main road twice (both roundabouts), the rest can be done on the cycling paths!
