UNIVERSITIES

Madrid has a total of 80 universities, including public and private universities. These are some of the most important and prestigious ones:

Universidad Complutense: one of the largest universities in Europe, located in the neighborhoods of Moncloa and Somosaguas.

Universidad Autónoma: one of the best universities in Spain and a research university.

Carlos III University: it has a campus in the center of Madrid and three outside the capital, located in Getafe, Leganés and Colmenarejo.

Palacio

It is the most central neighborhood and where they are, besides the Royal Palace, the Plaza Mayor and the San Miguel Market. It is also a good area to go out to eat, as it houses numerous quality restaurants.

Retiro

This is where the famous Retiro park is located. It is a very quiet residential area, but very well connected to the center of Madrid, making it very convenient to live.
