
The University of Barcelona has six campuses spread across different parts of the city: Diagonal, Humanitats, Bellvitge, Mundet, Medicina and Torribera.
Diagonal campus has faculties located on both sides of Avenida Diagonal. The nearest tube stations are Palau Reial (Pharmacy, Chemistry) and Zona Universitaria (Economics, Mathematics, Architecture). Medicina campus is linked to the Hospital Clínico, located south of Avenida Diagonal. The nearest stop is Hospital Clínic.
If you are going to study in the Medicine or Diagonal campuses, the best neighbourhoods to look for accommodation are Sants and Les Corts. The journey from Sants to Diagonal campus takes only 16 minutes on the metro line 3. The ride from Sants to the Medicine campus is only three minutes by tube with the line five (Sants-Hospital Clínic). From Les Corts it takes about 25 minutes to arrive, 10 minutes by tram T1 and the rest on foot.
Bellvitge campus (faculties of Nursing, Medicine and Dentistry) is located in Hospitalet de Llobregat. In this area there is a variety of options for student accommodation. The nearest tube stop is Hospital de Bellvitge. Metro line 1 goes across most areas of Hospitalet and the journey by tube to the campus doesn’t take longer than 16 minutes.
Mundet campus is located in the north of Barcelona. Here are the faculties of Teacher Education, Pedagogy and Psychology. The nearest metro station is Mundet. The best choices to live if you study here are Horta and La Pau. The journey by tube (line 5) from Horta lasts only 10 minutes and 12 minutes from Valldaura with line 3. Despite being some distance from the campus, the La Pau area is well connected and it takes about 42 minutes to arrive by tube (lines 5 and 2).
