Gesundbrunnen is a neighbourhood built in the shores of Mitte. The hip district has numerous cafes, bars and clubs where you can enjoy a beer with friends after a day at the university. The green neighbourhood is surrounded by one of Berlins most delightful parks in Berlin, the Mauerpark. In the neighbourhood you can see the Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer, an memorial of the Berlin Wall and the Berliner Unterwelten e.V. a cultural centre dedicated to the Nazi regime. The neighbourhood has very good connections to the rest of the city. From here you can catch the tram, suburban trains or even walk to the historical centre of the city.
