UCP (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) is the Porto school of the Portuguese Catholic University. Católica, one of the most prestigious Portuguese universities, has faculties in several cities of Portugal. Its main Porto campus is located in the heart of Foz, near the beach and the river mouth, but there are also classes taught at the Asprela campus. This private university is well-known for its Law and Business degrees, which are rated as one of the best in the country, but the university also has other high-quality departments, such as the School of Arts, Faculties of Biotechnology, Education and Psychology, Theology, as well as the Católica Porto Business School and the Institutes of Bioethics and of Health Sciences. To get to the main campus in Foz, you can hop on one of several buses servicing the area (200, 204, 1M stop right outside, 203 and 207 stop nearby).
