The appartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, the stairs are really narrow and so is the appartment. NO common area except of the kitchen (with only a very tiny table) and bathroom. The room is exactly as it is on the pictures (very tiny but the tiny balcony(chair does not fit on it) is nice to have), however in the description there is written there is a table and this is not really a table just a little table to sit on the bed with.. so do not expect a study desk (which I really missed during the semester). The fridge is in the room which is a bit annoying since you always have to drag your stuff to the kitchen when you want to cook and afterwards back to the room. Also I couldn't leave any stuff in the bathroom, only the landlady had her stuff there... which is fine but also annoying after a while and doesn't help with feeling at home. Also what is important to know and NOT listed in the discription, there is a cat living there. Also my door handle was a bit broken so the door eventually popped open and it was hard to close so I had to lock it most of the times.. The cat took advantage of that and came into my room at least twice a day since it could easily open the door - sometimes even during night if I hadn't locked my room. She was not a very cuddly cat more the kind of cat that hides under your bed and eventually jumps on your legs... soo another thing that required good nerves. For me it was too tiny (but that was no surprise, it has the size as it is stated in the description) and the fact that there was no living room and that I couldn't leav my stuff in kitchen and bathroom, plus cat and door handle, plus not beeing allowed to have friends over doesn't really make me miss that place. One last thing, the flatmates were: one very old lady around 80 or 90, one men in his 50ies I think, another men around 26, the landlady (also in her 50ies) and me. Everyone was really nice but I would have preferred to live with more people around my age (24) to maybe have dinners together etc... Everyone was eating alone in their room since also the kitchen did not really offer space for a joint dinner... In my eyes the price is mainly for the location, which is as I said very nice.
