Located behind Parco Sempione, Sarpi is locally known as Milan’s China Town. After the Great War a large Chinese population settled in the area. Via Paolo Sarpi is the main street of the neighbourhood and the best for shopping. Sarpi neighbourhood is located within several transport links as well as commercial and leisure areas. Very close to Sarpi street you will find Corso Sempione and the stunning Arco della Pace with all its bars and restaurants. The Arch area is together with the Navigli one the center of Milan nightlife where lots of locals and tourists spend their time after sunset.
