Algirós is one of the most popular neighbourhoods for students in Valência. It is close to UPV and UV Tarongers, making it a first choice for students in the city. Overall the neighbourhood is very well located. It is close to the beach and is located surrounding Blasco Ibáñez avenue, which is one of the city’s main arteries. The busy street contrasts with some of the narrower streets in Algirós. The residential area has good facilities and some nightlife spots that opened in recent years as a result of its popularity among students. Algirós has two very popular night spots for students in Valencia: Xúquer-Honduras zone and Cedro zone.
