Redbridge is a leafy suburb, full of parks and open spaces. It is only sort of in London: This borough of greater London is usually considered to be Essex. A lot of people live in Redbrige: the area has the population size of some of UK’s cities. Rental prices are thankfully lower in Redbridge, as it is out in the suburbs. The range of properties is massive in the area but expect a mix of Victorian and Georgian terraced properties, alongside 1960s and 70s blocks of flats and some modern apartments. As Redbridge is quite far from out you can expect an hour or so commute into the centre for most of London's major universities. The University of East London's Stratford Campus is easily accessible by train, as is Queen Mary University in East London itself. Redbridge is connected to the wider city by the north-eastern circle of the Central Line and by National Rail service through Ilford in the south.
