Make sure they match the listing&#8217;s availability before proceeding.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fill in your personal details<\/strong> \u2014 confirm your name, contact information and a short message to the landlord. A friendly, honest introduction significantly improves your chances of acceptance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add your payment information<\/strong> \u2014 enter your card details. No payment is taken at this stage \u2014 your card is only charged if the landlord accepts your request.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Send your booking request<\/strong> \u2014 review your details and click &#8216;Send request&#8217;. Sign in and try again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What happens next?<\/h2>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve sent your request, the landlord has 24 hours to accept or decline. <strong>If they accept, your payment is processed automatically<\/strong> and you&#8217;ll receive a confirmation email with their contact details and move-in instructions.<\/p>\n<p>If they decline or don&#8217;t respond within 24 hours, your request expires automatically and nothing is charged. You can then search for another listing and try again straight away.<\/p>\n<h2>When will I be charged?<\/h2>\n<p>You are charged only when the landlord accepts your booking request.
