The Faculty of Biotechnology in Porto, Portugal was established as a school of the Portuguese Catholic University in 1984 and since then has been offering degrees in the area of Biotechnology. All our degrees are now being offered to international students with classes and exams in English. Welcome to Porto Porto is the second largest portuguese city and one of the most ancient in Europe. It was born and developed from the northern bank of this river during the middle Ages. One of the most significant aspects of Porto and its historical centre is its landscape, combining harmony with the urban structure and presenting a frame of rare beauty.
