The Bovisa neighborhood is located in the north-west area of Milan, just outside the ring road. Originally an industrial zone, it underwent a transformation in 1989 with the opening of one of the main headquarters of the Polytechnic University of Milan (Politecnico di Milano), which over the years has become one of the most important university centers from the city.

HOW TO GET TO BOVISA

Lines 90 and 91 run all along the ring road and also run overnight. At the Bovisa train station, the Passante Ferroviario provides service to Cadorna stations (lines S3 and S4) and Porta Garibaldi (line S2). Regional service trains run from Bovisa to Lake Maggiore (lines RE1 and R22) and Lake Como (lines RE7 and R17).
