The Abat Oliba CEU University has its origin in the University Centre Abat Oliba CEU, created by the San Pablo CEU Foundation in 1973 by means of and adscription agreement with the Barcelona University. It started classes in its first headquarter in the Pearson Avenue in Barcelona in 1974 and, since then, has trained more than 8,500 university graduates.
In 1993, it moved to the Bellesguard Campus, and as Teaching Centre of Superior Studies Abat Oliba CEU, started teaching all of its degrees in Law and Business Management, as well as the first stage of the Economics degree.
Ten years later, the new Abat Oliba CEU University is recognised by Law 20/2003, 4th of July, of the Catalan Parliament, creating two centres in Barcelona: the Social Sciences Faculty and the Engineering Technical College.

Please note that: Couples have to pay an extra 250€/month. The deposit is equal to the first month's rent plus 60€ of supplies. Admin fee can be paid at the check-in. The Tenant must pay at the beginning of his/her stay a Welcome Service fee of €250 to cover the costs of drafting and signing the legal rental Agreement, supply of two pillows, two cushions, duvet (supplied during the autumn-winter season), blanket, a set of sheets and two towels. In case the Tenants are a couple, the Welcome Service, which includes management, a second pair of towels, and a second copy of keys, will be increased by €100. Water, Gas, and Electricity bills are not included, and amount to 65€/month. Departure service: In the last month of the agreement, a final cleaning fee of €100 will be charged, which includes deep cleaning and disinfection of the entire room, fridge, and pantry. The shallow cleaning of the room, as well as emptying and cleaning the shelves of the refrigerator, pantry, and other spaces used in the common areas, is the responsibility of the Tenant before departure. Failure to comply with this final cleaning will be penalized w/ €50. The Bedroom: Cozy double room with key lock in Gracia neighborhood. It has a huge working area, a comfortable double bed, several drawers, a huge mirror, ceiling fan, wooden floor, gas heating... 1 minute walk from Lesseps subway station, surrounded by bus, subway and bike stations, supermarkets.
