One of the city’s main arteries, Avinguda de la Meridiana passes by the neighbourhood, but even that doesn’t disturb the calm of La Sagrera. For the sunny days, Plaça de l’Assemblea de Catalunya and Parc dels Jardins d’Elx offer green spaces for relaxation. In the excavation work for the new train station, there were discovered several historical treasures including Roman remains.
