If you are going to study at UPF the best neighborhoods to look for accommodation are the Gothic Quarter, La Barceloneta, El Raval and Poble Sec
The Gothic Quarter, where the Barcelona Cathedral and the Dalí Museum are located, is one of the most sought after by students. Its good location makes it possible to reach the Ciutadella campus in just 17 minutes with the metro line 4. In addition, the Campus del Mar is not far away and you can walk for about 20 minutes or catch the D20 bus to get there.
The Barceloneta is undoubtedly the best option to live if you study in the Campus del Mar, since you can reach the faculty in only 5-10 minutes on foot. The Ciutadella campus is within walking distance and the journey on foot from La Barceloneta takes about 20 minutes.
El Raval is the picturesque and multicultural neighborhood located west of the Gothic Quarter that houses the Boquería market and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona. Living here is very convenient if you study at the UPF. Thanks to the good communications in public transport, you can go to both the Poblenou and Ciutadella campuses in 30 minutes using metro line 1.
The metro ride from Poble Sec to the Campus del Mar takes 21 minutes with metro line 3. If you study in the Mar del Camp the best option is to take the D20 bus; The journey takes about 33 minutes.
