The apartment is very dark and small and has a low ceiling, which differs a lot from the photos. After three months living there, we’ve made a list of everything that may be of your interest: - The bell doesn’t work. - One of the windows is broken and poorly fixed with a plastic. The window on the bathroom and the double-room are covered with some kind of plastic. It’s hard to ventilate but there is also a lot of humidity. The apartment itself is super cold (at least during our stay). - The curtains are broken. - The floor is uneven. - The living room roof and one of the bedroom’s roof leaks when it’s raining. - The window on the living room doesn’t always close (and it’s a problem when it’s raining) - Power fails if you use more than three things that require electricity (specially if you are using the washing machine) - Because of this, the power outlets in both of the double bedrooms don’t work anymore. - The TV doesn’t work and has a black stain on the screen that won’t go away. - The microwave doesn’t work. You can turn it on, but it won’t heat anything. - There is no extractor on the kitchen, so it gets really smoky and steamy when cooking, even with the window wide open. - It has a poorly equipped kitchen. We had to buy basic stuff like knives, a pan, a cooking pot, a dish drainer,... (We left everything there though) - The fridge leaks inside, so everything you put in, gets wet. - The washing machine is old, noisy, it shatters the clothes and makes it really hard to program it the way you want it (hint: you should use the program 7 and listen closely when programming it to make sure that it “clicked” 7 times) - Right next to the window on the kitchen there’s an extractor from an Indian food restaurant, and that’s where you hang your laundry, so the smell sticks on your clothes. - That same extractor is right next to the window of the small bedroom (which is super narrow and dark), and it gets super noisy. It’s very annoying to sleep there, and also impossible to study there. For all of these reasons we left the apartment earlier than expected (We left in December and we had it booked until June). Even though, the landlord is nice, and you can call him whenever you have a problem.
